The LED range of VNPR cameras from Vista captures vehicle number plates up to a range of 25 meters, providing high quality, high-contrast monochrome images under any lighting condition.

The use of LEDs facilitates reduced power consumption as well as reduced wastage as LEDs do not require bulb changes.
The Vista anpr range employs two new technologies: the high-efficiency Metaphase-LED array eliminates the need for routine bulb changes and only consumes an average of 24 watts – far less than previous halogen-based products. DHC-Imaging™ improves the images’ contrast ratio, so increasing the capture rate of the VNPR controllers. As well as accurate recognition of vehicle number plates, the range includes options that incorporate a colour overview anpr camera that gives the operator an expanded image of the capture scene, tying in details such as vehicle colour and number of occupants.
Installation is easy thanks to the single package for illuminator and anpr camera.

Set-up is equally simple as the range comes completely pre-configured – all the installer needs to do is fix the anpr camera to its mounting, point it in the right direction, connect it to the controller and power-up. The low voltage lamp and camera operation also ensures that the system can be mounted in areas that are out of bounds to mains power such as petrol forecourts.

High speed capture up to 100mph
All static and most moving vehicles will be registered, including those vehicles that are travelling well in excess of the speed limit

This eliminates the need for routine bulb replacement while consuming an average of only 24 watts; operating at 12/24V allows for use on petrol forecourt applications

Advanced ambient rejection technology
This ensures that total darkness, direct sunlight or headlights do not affect the functionality of the anpr camera or quality of the image, thus ensuring maximum number plate recognition
