The Quantum DVD combines many of the features characteristic of high-end DVR solutions whilst retaining a clear focus on the needs and priorities of cost conscious installations.

The Quantum DVD range comprises nine models with a choice of 4, 8 or 16 channel inputs each with various hard disk capacities.

With its MPEG 4 compression, choice of hard disk sizes, advanced alarm and flexible recording options of up to 100ips in standard resolution or 50ips in high resolution, Quantum DVD represents a highly effective and flexible range of DVRs with the benefit of instant archive of images to the on-board DVD-R.

Low cost, high spec
Designed specifically for cost conscious installations, but with key features usually found on only high-end DVRs

Fully featured

Smooth playback of images
100ips recording in standard resolution (CIF), or 50ips in high resolution (2CIF)

Maximising disk space
The Quantum DVD uses conditional MPEG4 and not full frame compression so it records a greater amount of information onto a smaller disk space

Superior image quality
Image quality is an impressive 2CIF, meaning that quality does not have to be sacrificed when working to a tight budget, 3 level settings for quality allows the unit to be configured exactly as site requirements demand
